Christmas in the City

The holiday favorite, Christmas in the City: A Time for Christmas, returns to Peoria Players this December.  Directed by Alex Guerrero and Susie Meaker, the show is back for its third year and features over 30 singers and dancers.  The show is choreographed by Susie Meaker and Don Coven and showcases a collection of musical selections that include popular hits, classic holiday favorites and as a special feature, original music by local area music composers Alex Guerrero and Eric Haschke.  Through two acts of entertainment, our audiences will be taken on a journey from the big city to your city and from the Pole of the North to the little town of Bethlehem where it all began over 2000 years ago. The sights and sounds of Peoria Players Christmas in the City will be sure to have something for everyone -- including the young and the young at heart.  The production runs at 7:30 pm on December 18, 19 and 20, and at 2:30 on December 21.  Tickets are $17 for adults, $12 for patrons 18 and under, and are on sale today.  Call our box office at 688-4473 or purchase tickets online.
